Former Ex-Im boss joins renewable energy firm

Sapphire Energy has hired James Lambright, former head of the US Export-Import Bank and chief investment officer of the US Treasury Department’s Troubled Asset Relief Programme (TARP). Lambright joined the green energy producer as chief financial officer and president, international, effective March 1.

Lambright rounds out an already impressive leadership team, which, since 2008, has focused its efforts on producing a scalable, renewable, low carbon liquid transportation fuel from algae, sunlight and CO2.
